Objectives

  • Learners will be able to create and deploy global server load balancing (GSLB) and DNS configurations using the BIG-IP Global Traffic Manager (GTM) solution.
  • Learners will understand the features, functionality, and UI of BIG-IP GTM and configure DNS name resolution for a variety of clients.
  • Learners will learn how to configure advanced protocol-independent load balancers and implement DNS redundancy and Geographic Load Balancing (GLB).
  • Learners will be able to troubleshoot DNS records and DNS forwarding, customize data center affinity, and set up data center failovers.
  • Learners will have hands-on experience with deploying the BIG-IP GTM solution. They will create custom iRules and utilize monitoring probes to optimize performance.
  • Learners will apply best practices related to deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of BIG-IP GTM.
