About the Course

The course is composed with all technologies for solar energy utilization such as PV, Solar thermal, and PVT hybrid thermal collectors. All attendees of the course will understand solar energy technology, starting from basic knowledge of solar energy to transforming the solar radiation into electricity and thermal energy. Moreover, principles for using solar PV, Solar thermal and PVT hybrid devices and combined systems with other renewable energy sources (RES) for maximum utilization of solar energy will be also covered. Attendees will learn the best practices for solar energy utilization and will increase their employability in RES sector. They will be trained for planning, designing, or investing in solar technologies at glance and will have last world case studies/references of the solar energy utilisation. Novel innovative and sustainable trends are also discussed in the course. Climate change, global warming and all regulations based on COP 26 agreement (Glasgow, 2021) that define the reduction of greenhouse gasses and maximum increased temperature of the Earth for 1.50C compared to 1990 will be overviewed in the course.
